| A young man lives in Bishkek. He has a mother and a girlfriend, but his priorities are his friends and nightlife. His mother — a former ballerina — lives a quiet, lonely life, tired of her son’s constant irresponsibility and arguments. One day, a stranger appears. Calm, mysterious. He says just one thing: “You have 10 days. Then I will come for your mother.” And disappears. The son doesn’t believe him at first. But the stranger keeps returning. Eventually, it becomes clear — he is the Angel of Death. The son realizes time is running out. He decides to fulfill his mother’s two biggest dreams: to see her son get married and to visit the Mikhailovsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. To do this, he must change his ways, propose to his girlfriend, and find the money to take his mother on that final trip. Once in Saint Petersburg — the city of her dreams — his mother comes alive again. The streets, the music, the theatre, the ballet — bring back her spirit and joy. For the first time, mother and son speak openly. He sees her not just as a mother, but as a woman — a dreamer, an artist, someone who once gave up everything for him. She is truly happy. |
